Ahhhhh!!  You guys!!  I’ve been working my tushy off all last month and the moment is finally here!  We are officially releasing all of the freebies that I developed for my crew over at Patterns for Pirates!

Today was the first day, and we kicked it off with a super sweet twist on an infinity scarf: we added a zippered pocket to it!

I’m not going to lie to you for a second.  I am NOT a scarf wearing girl.  In fact, wearing it around the house while I was taking photos, Bennett kept making silly comments about me.  It’s so uncommon for me to wear a scarf that my husband knows how weird it looks when I’m wearing one.

However, I almost want to become a scarf girl because of this pocket.  As simple as it is…it provides hands free opportunities that other things just cannot.  You can seriously stash money, your phone, snacks for your kids, a flask, keys, your id, etc in it and you don’t even know it’s there.  Just think how wonderful it would be for traveling!  Or going out for a walk!  Or attending a football game in the fall / winter?  I MEAN.  So good!

My mom has already requested one.  Several of my friends have started harassing me to make them one.  And I’m pretty sure Louis’ teachers will be getting these in some form this year for one of their gifts.

Women are so deprived of pockets that we get excited about them in all forms.  This is no different.  A pocketed scarf is seriously making waves happen over at P4P’s group today.

Ready to make your own?  What are you waiting for?
