Sharing. My sewing skills with my kiddo, while throwing together a last-minute outfit together for him for school.  His school is celebrating their 90th year this year…and instead of doing the 100th day of school, they had a 90th day this year.  They could either dress up like 90 year olds, or like they were living in 1929.  Louis wanted to dress like the latter, so we found an old shirt, cut it down to his size, scrounged the house for Bennett’s suspenders and hat, and then found a tie of Lou’s great-grandfather to complete the ensemble.  I think he looked darn cute.

Thinking. About how proud I am of my little man.  He is trying out for the talent show tomorrow with his newly formed dance partner, doing a fully choreographed salsa dance.  Louis has never been taught how to dance before, he’s always just moved.  So it’s a completely different way of grooving to the music, and yet he’s killing it.  They learned the entire dance in just two practices, and he’s doing so well!  He’ll have about three weeks to perfect it before the actual talent show, and I’m so excited to see him up on stage again.

Redoing. Our movie journey with the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).  While we’ve seen all of the movies, multiple times each, we’ve never watched them intentionally in sequential order.  So far, we’ve rewatched Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.  Next on deck is Iron Man 2….which to be honest I’m not looking forward to because I thought Whiplash/Mickey Rourke was the worst addition to a superhero movie ever.

The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!

Ackkk…Louis looks so stinkin’ cute! Eric and I did the watch through of all the MCU movies last year just before Infinity Wars came out. It was interesting because we caught a few things from the older ones we forgot about that tied into the more recent ones. MCU really did a fantastic job of tying in all the story lines over 10 years.

I can’t wait to hear all about the salsa dance! So impressive (also his outfit for the 90th is adorable).

I loved his costume! He looked very dapper. We’ve always talked about watching the movies all in a specific order, and we’ve started before, but never seem to get through them all. I may just live through you, so you’ll have to give updates!

I love how connected Louis is to his family legacy. It’s beautiful! He’s such a dynamic kid! I think being called an interesting person is the greatest compliment and I must say, Katy, you are one and I believe you’ve raised a very interesting person too! <3
