I Can Make That Podcast | Episode 007 :: Luke Novel, Spook Novel

Jan 5, 2020

Welcome back to the I Can Make That: Conversations with Creatives podcast!  We are live with Episode 007 and our first episode of the new year.  So exciting!  Make sure to subscribe to our station so you don’t miss out on any of our episodes

I am switching genres today from my typical sewing crew, to bring you a different version of the arts!  My son, husband and I met today’s guest at a YWCA Mini-Con in our town earlier this year. The three of us were dressed up as various characters and he was a vendor at the show.  We started really chatting it up because he was nerding out to see my husband dressed as Magneto. If it was all a ploy, it worked, because it drew us into his booth full of art, where we became super smitten over his style.

Meet: Luke Novel!

Luke is a graphic artist, based out of Moundsville, West Virginia.  He is the owner of one of the most visually interesting instagram feeds, and is the wielder of the pen over at Spook Novel.  His art and style is unmistakably his own and the passion and talent he puts into what he creates is fan-freaking-tastic. Luke is a happily married man, raising two daughters in this beautifully nerdy, artsy world that they’ve created.  And I’m really stoked to bring him on the show today!
