So I did a thing. And that thing was do a bunch of math and take the guess work and math out of circle skirts for you — by releasing a FREE pattern: The Voyager Skirt!!
Well….I released two patterns, because there is The Little Voyager Skirt as well! Woohoo!
The Voyager skirts were designed with woven, non-stretch fabrics in mind. AND, I took it one step further and made it so you could skip the zipper by way of this encased elastic waistband. It’s like the best of both worlds when you can make a super quick skirt out of woven fabric that you impulsively purchased and not fiddle with zippers.
Oh. And I forgot to tell you the best part: IT HAS POCKETS!! They’re optional, of course. But who would really opt out of a place to store things….even if those things are your hands because you don’t know what to do with them and pockets make more sense than awkward poses.
The skirt features:
- Two hem lengths (above and below knee)
- Full circle skirt.
- Designed for woven (non-stretch) fabrics.
- Elastic enclosed waistband.
- Optional pockets.
With these downloads, you will receive an easy-to-print, color coded pattern with a NO TRIM page feature. You will also be able to turn on/off layers so you can print only the size you need. The zip file includes four print formats: Letter, A4, A0 (printshop), and Projector.
