I’m bringing you some sunshine with my blue haired cutie in another one of the Go Team Jerseys that I made for him! If you haven’t caught wind yet, Patterns for Pirates just launched a set of four new awesomesauce patterns: Go Team Jersey, Go Team Jersey - Youth, Go Team Dress + Go Team Dress - Youth. And I’ve been loving sharing them all week with y’all!
This time around, I went a little less sporty, and a little more casual tee for Louis. I found this cute tie dye dbp at JoAnn Fabrics that looked like perfect print for my little man. I actually gave him the option of this or the black/white combo I made for Bennett but of course my lover of color went for this fabric combo.
The Go Team Jersey features:
- Three necklines: Crew, V, Hooded.
- Four sleeve lengths: Short, 3/4, Long Hemmed + Long Cuffed.
- Front + Back Yokes.
- Optional Sleeve Stripes.
Lou is in a size 14 now, which is at the very top end of the youth chart, and the fit was spot on for him. Typically storebought tops are super wide and super short, so we always prefer something a little more made to his more slender figure. The Jersey has a little more ease than what I typically make for him (generally it’s the Yo Ho Henley or Basic Tee - Youth) but he still really liked the fit of it. And so did I. So we all win in this instance, don’t we?
Kiddo has been SUPER into wearing hoodies lately, so I happily added the hooded option to his make. He was pretty happy with it!
Pretty darn adorable, wouldn’t you agree?
