Happy Fabric Reveal Day, friends! As you know, I’m a big fan of finally being able to share what I’ve made with the fabric we sent to our subscribers. So I don’t even need to say it, right?
I’m super pumped to share what we sent this month because it’s such cool fabric! EEE!! I’ve never had anything like it before and it’s sooooo fun. And obviously the most beautiful and perfect color for this time of year.
Fabric Details: Cozy Sweater Knit
Width: 58/60″ GSM: 280.00
Material: 98% Polyester, 2% Spandex
Cozy Sweater Knit must be code for “teddy bear” fabric, because that’s kind of what it was. It’s super textured and has a very heavy weight to it, without being super stiff. It also has an incredible horizontal stretch…but zero vertical. The applications for this fabric base are plentiful…but I decided to take an easy way out and make myself an All Buttoned Up cardigan. I’m currently really into wearing long duster length cardis so I can be warm inside and outside, while the temperatures still aren’t fully jacket worthy. I have three All Buttoned Ups that I’ve been rotating between this fall and I’m not mad about it.

I also decided that I needed a new underlayer for my little photoshoot…so I whipped up a Favorite Tee and added this “In My Sewing Era” design to it (using some Siser DTV). If you keep your eyes peeled, I am pretty sure this design is going to pop up on my blog as a freebie soon. In full color and just a basic cut file, so ya’ll can use it however you’d like. I just haven’t gotten that far yet.
