It’s the 15th of the month, which means it’s time to share what we sent out with the Fabric for Pirates monthly fabric shipment, from Patterns for Pirates!! For the second month in a row, I sewed up the pattern that I have in testing…and I won’t apologize for that, haha. Because I think it was a ::super cute:: pairing and I’m very excited to talk about what I’ve been working on!
But first, let’s talk fabric!
We sent out this SUPER soft, super stretchy, super gorgeous poly/rayon/spandex in what I’d like to call Mountaineer Gold, but you can call it Sunshine Yellow, or Mango, or whatever works for you. We thought it would be the perfect end of summer / early fall fabric because it’s still lightweight, is in bright tones, but also is giving a little nod to the colors that are coming our way with fall.

Okay, I’m dying to tell you about the patterns I’ve been working on! They’re called the Raider Ringer Tees and they’re in ALL FOUR size charts that we use at Patterns for Pirates. What’s that mean exactly? It MEANs that the next pattern I’m pumping out will cover all body shapes and sizes…in our Youth and Adult Hourglass + V Figure charts! WOOOOOO!
The version I made here is one of my favorite features of the pattern. There’s a vertical stripe that goes from the neckline to the hemline on your sleeve. So you can mix/match fabrics and colors and patterns and make super fun tops. Obviously I’m vibing with some team spirit here in my blue + gold, but the opportunities are boundless on how you want to use this pattern feature!
