P4P 50K Member Celebration + Peg Legs Update!

Apr 18, 2017

Such an INCREDIBLE thing that we get to share about today!  Patterns for Pirates has reach 50,000 fans in our Facebook group.  INSANITY!  To celebrate, we’ve got a few things going on.

First, we have a big ole sale happening.  Use code “50KSale” to get a whopping 30% off your purchase, through April 25th.  Head on over and get your pattern shopping on!  And second, we updated the ever-famous Peg Legs leggings pattern with SO MUCH EXTRA STUFF!

Do you remember the Peg Legs release a couple of years ago?  It was under two years ago that Judy released the Peg Legs as a freebie to her fans for hitting 5K.  Five thousand.  Let that sink in.  We’ve added 45,000 members to our group in under two years.  Woah.  It’s incredible to watch that group manifest into the community that it is.  I’m honored to be one of the first-mates to Judy and participating in every part of it.

The Peg Legs pattern now includes high and low waist options with the basic pattern.  And we created an add-on pack that has color blocked sides, pocket options, AND a fabulous contoured high-waist band.  PLUS, we had a second add-on for maternity waistbands.  So much fabulous all in one release.

Here are some quick shots of the Pegs I made during testing.  The only reason why I’m not spending a whole lot of time on explaining them is because I had a WAY bigger project while we were planning the re-release of these bottoms.  But first, photos of me, right?

Now let’s get to some good stuff!  I wanted to create a photoshoot with my girlfriends.  And the Peg Legs update was such a fabulous excuse to get my gorgeous girls in front of the camera and have an all-out girls day.  I rounded up nine sets of fabrics that would coordinate, dragged their measurements out of them (so I could make leggings to their own unique sizes) and set up a photo date.  The rest you can see for yourself!

I had SO MANY photos that I wanted to create an easier way to view them.  So check it out.  My first lookbook!!

And here are a couple of my favorite group shots from the whole shebang.  Aren’t my friends just stunning?!?!

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
