Remember when I shared that Anchor Fabrics is the latest indie fabric shop to hit the sewing world? Well Judy sent me some of the fabrics that we are carrying in the shop and I was SUPER excited to make some new pieces with them!
Let me tell you that Brushed Yummy Ribbed Knit is basically my favorite fabric base. EVER. Everrrrrrrrrrrr.
I find myself putting a million yards of it in my cart at all times because it’s so versatile, it sublimates AMAZINGLY well, is loved by my entire family, and comes in lots of colors. Plus it’s comfy to wear and I always am a sucker for textured fabrics. It’s all the good things that I need in a fabric!
I paired my Denim Brushed Yummy Ribbed Knit from Anchor Fabrics with the Tie Up Top from Patterns for Pirates. It has a beautiful drape and I was super stoked to finally make the sleeved version with the most fun sleeves ever!
I mean, look at that drape!!
What would you have made with this fabric? Or would you have made the same top, just with a different color from the new Anchor Fabric shop? I’m eyeballing the hunter green colorway as we are heading into the holiday season.
