Erin from Thread Therapy Fabrics contacted me about her new round of custom prints and asked if I wanted to sew something up with her geometric roses. Yes, girl. YES. Of course. I am a huge sucker for a geo print and I ADORE floral fabrics. Sign me up!
Made for Mermaids and Patterns for Pirates had so much fun on our last tour that we decided to do it again! “Sew, What Do I Wear?” is back for another round, and this time it’s all about Valentine’s Day outfits. Fun, right?
I’m back for my fourth and final week of sharing the handmade pieces that I’ve managed to wear over the last week. Tibeca of Sewing by Ti is hosting this blogging series all month long…and my take on it is to show just how easy it is to wear something handmade every day.

I was sent some fabrics by RP Custom Fabrics and seriously couldn’t wait to stitch them up into something for Louis and me. (Sorry Bennett, you’ve been left out again.) RP is running a line of pre-order fabrics right now that is called “Happy or Hungry” and is filled with fun prints of foods like doughnuts, pizza, hamburgers, tacos, and various candies.
I was sent the “jumbo sized” versions of doughnuts and pizza and here’s what I made out of them!

Made for Mermaids has a way of bringing sexy back. You can see one instance HERE. And they did it again with their latest release: Mama Claire. I don’t think you guys are ready for this one! It’s a dolman style shirt, with a cross-over…and it’s REVERSIBLE. Hello awesome!

EEEEEEP! I’m back again, tooting my own horn. I drafted up this slouchy hat for one of my KatyMade boxes and decided to turn it into a real pattern for Patterns for Pirates to be able to share. And it’s FREE for the 2016 Holiday Freebies. Fun, right?
