Erin from Thread Therapy Fabrics contacted me about her new round of custom prints and asked if I wanted to sew something up with her geometric roses. Yes, girl. YES. Of course. I am a huge sucker for a geo print and I ADORE floral fabrics. Sign me up!
Made for Mermaids and Patterns for Pirates had so much fun on our last tour that we decided to do it again! “Sew, What Do I Wear?” is back for another round, and this time it’s all about Valentine’s Day outfits. Fun, right?
Made for Mermaids has a way of bringing sexy back. You can see one instance HERE. And they did it again with their latest release: Mama Claire. I don’t think you guys are ready for this one! It’s a dolman style shirt, with a cross-over…and it’s REVERSIBLE. Hello awesome!
By george, Team Mermaid has done it again! Allow me to introduce you to Mama Joy.
Joy is coming out as part of Made for Mermaids’ “Dreamy Collection” and is simply stunning. I love that it can be so dressy and so dressed down, depending on how you style it. Plus, HELLO options! Peplum, dress, maxi, optional zipper, two necklines, pockets…and they have some hacks coming to the blog that will take your pattern even further. It’s perfection.
I’m back again, sharing another freebie from Made for Mermaid’s “12 Days of Christmas Freebies”! Today, it’s another easy scrapbuster in the form of fleece earwarmers for the whole family.
Get ready to oooo and ahhhh over how cute we are as a little plaid family. Haha. I kid!
It’s release day! It’s release day! This cardigan was one of the longest teases we’ve ever done with Patterns for Pirates and it’s fun to finally be releasing it. Ready to see what I made? (I will link all of the fabrics and patterns at the bottom of the post, in case you’re wanting to know about them.)
Eep! I made a thing. I might have stayed up WAY past my bedtime to make it. And I might have been cursing (loudly) when I had to seam rip through fleece….which is damn near impossible to do. But I love it.
I love it so much I couldn’t wait to take picture and share.
So here she is: my new fall/winter jacket! Woot!
